Stretching exercises

Reflex: This is a reflexive stretching of muscle tissue, such as jumping a long distance or extending the duration of the stretch. When this is done, the reflex nerves respond by sending information to the muscles to protect them from injury. When this type of stretching is applied over a long distance, it causes a similar reaction, gradually increasing muscle activity. However, care must be taken when applying this type of stretching. If you feel any pain, you must stop to avoid damaging the muscle tissue. Note: When applying this type of stretching, your fingers do not necessarily have to touch your toes, but rather extend to the maximum point at which you can stretch your body.
